What is Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Certification?

The international standard IEEE802.11 describe the specification of Wireless Local Area Connection simply WLAN. Wi-Fi stands for wireless fidelity. Wi-Fi alliance is a group that run Wi-Fi certified program which goal is to testing products whether they are compatible with 802.11 industry standards. And the Wi-Fi certified Logo is the assurance that the product is compatible with other vendor’s hardware devices that undergoes with 802.11 standards. These things are often misunderstood by us. Simply a product using Wi-Fi logo confirms us that it undergoes the Wi-Fi certification with success. And Wi-Fi itself is not any standard. And also not a manufacturer brand. Different manufacturer brands are making these wireless devices and after the Wi-Fi certification the use this Wi-Fi certified logo.
